Shatterprufe laminated safety glass consists of a strong vinyl interlayer sandwiched between two outer layers of high impact safety glass. The result is triple-layer protection that resists shattering on impact, and prevents flying objects from penetrating the passenger compartment. Shatterprufe windscreens also withstand damage such as pitting and scratching. A properly installed Shatterprufe windscreen adds strength and rigidity to a car's body. A glass that fits badly or falls out on impact could easily cause the roof to cave in, or passengers to be flung out of the car. Shatterprufe windscreens fit perfectly to ensure the structural integrity of the car is maintained in an accident.

Armourplate toughened glass is subjected to an exacting process that radically alters the molecular structure and characteristics of the glass. The result is a stronger glass that, if broken, disintegrates into small, relatively harmless pieces that minimise the chance of serious injury. Armourplate is up to five times stronger than ordinary glass. When bonded in place, Armouplate will add to the structural integrity of the vehicle, reducing body shell deformation in the event of an impact.
